Kelsey Odom, AIA, LEED GA

Kelsey is a licensed Architect who has worked on a variety of project types and sizes, all with their own set of complexities and thrills. These projects range from a prefab tiny house on wheels capable of traveling cross-country to a surgical center in an abandoned movie theater in the Upper East Side. Kelsey joined COOKFOX in 2019 and helped build an Empire State Beehive for her tiniest client yet, honeybees living in Harlem.

In addition to beehives at COOKFOX, Kelsey has also contributed to the Armani Project where she leads coordination of the exterior façade and structure. The complexity of the project is especially notable where existing brick façades dating back to the early 20th century must interface with a new carved limestone façade. Building a mid-rise building within New York City’s existing fabric has, and will always, provide its own particular thrill.

Prior to COOKFOX, Kelsey worked at Jeffrey Beers International on hospitality projects such as Fontainebleau Miami and Westin Times Square. She then joined 1100 Architect where she coordinated high end residential projects of varying scales, Convent of the Sacred Heart School, and Brown University Athletic Center.

As a native Texan, Kelsey does not shy away from getting her hands dirty and enjoys spending time outside exploring and admiring her favorite designers: birds and insects.
