Today, we say a heartfelt “thank you” and “see you soon” to our full-time summer 2024 intern, Vaidehi Vagal. Currently pursuing her M.Arch at the University at Buffalo’s School of Architecture and Planning, Vaidehi spent May to August immersed in three COOKFOX projects alongside developing an impressive, multi-part research capstone with the studio’s Green Team. With project assignments ranging from marketplace research to conceptual design, she witnessed exciting milestones, such as competition deadlines, project kick-offs, and site visits. For her Green Team initiative, she streamlined the studio’s embodied carbon data evaluation process and created a carbon budget report that follows the Carbon Leadership Forum (CLF) format, and her contributions help us pursue sustainable best practices with rigor and diligence.
