Michael Levy Bajar, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP

Michael joined COOKFOX in 2018 and has been working as an architect on several projects. He is currently part of the team in charge of a multistory residential luxury condominium in Manhattan on track to receive both LEED and WELL certifications while helping to lead studio efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Originally from Panama, Michael came to The United States to pursue his studies at the University of Florida, where he obtained a Bachelor of Design in Architecture in 2002 and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia in 2011.
Prior to COOKFOX, Michael was a senior project manager at Murdock Solon Architects, where he remained for seven years leading designs for a house in Montauk, an addition and renovation to a four-story townhouse in Fort Greene, a two-story contemporary Penthouse gallery with sculpture gardens in West Chelsea; a sound and video-editing headquarters in SoHo; two roof amenity terraces for commercial properties in Manhattan and Washington, D.C., and an award-winning ground-up family home in Greenwich, Connecticut.
He has more than 15 years of experience in architecture and designing furniture systems, getting his start at companies like Archetype Design Studio and Asymptote Architecture in New York City.
Michael continues to refine projects that innovate and have a positive influence on human experience, striking a detailed balance between concept and expectation.
