Emilio DiPonio, CFO

Emilio joined the studio in 2005 and serves as the Chief Financial Officer of COOKFOX. His responsibilities include day-to-day operational management, contract negotiation and financial management on a firm-wide and project-specific bases.

Emilio is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Long Island City, Queens. He was introduced to New York’s design and construction industries at a young age through his father, who has been a laborer and construction foreman in NYC for over fifty years. Emilio attended Stuyvesant High School and later received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Investments from Bernard M. Baruch College.

Having spent his formative years living in Long Island City during the 1970’s and 80’s, Emilio believes deeply in the mission of COOKFOX, specifically that health and quality of life can be vastly improved through thoughtfully sustainable urban planning and design, and that we all greatly benefit from a connection to nature.
