Recent Promotions at COOKFOX

Remon Alberts and Charlene Chai have been promoted to Senior Associate. Alex Ferrec, Zach Kern, Vivienne La, and Kayeon “Kay” Lee have been promoted to Associate

Charlene joined COOKFOX in 2020 and has worked on 555 Greenwich Street and the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music in West Long Branch, New Jersey, for which she currently serves as Project Architect. She is also leading the development of our Materials Action Plan, a framework for helping COOKFOX lead in the areas of healthy, ethical, and sustainable material specifications.

Remon joined COOKFOX in 2021 and has worked on the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music and Ruby, and he’s currently managing a multi-family residential project in Tribeca. He heads the COOKFOX’s Green Team, tracks and sets ambitious sustainability targets across all active projects. 

Alex Ferrec is COOKFOX’s in-house photographer and videographer and has worked at the studio for over a decade. A trained architect, he is skilled at translating buildings into beautiful, resonant images. 

Zach joined COOKFOX in 2022 and has primarily worked on education projects, including Mundo Verde Calle Ocho, a bilingual public charter school in Washington DC. He’s also involved in the studio’s mentorship program, counseling early-career architects and designers.

Vivienne La joined COOKFOX in 2019 and has worked on interiors for various project types, including the Giorgio Armani Residences and Liberty Landing.

Kay  joined COOKFOX in 2022 and has worked on the Willow, a residential tower in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood. She is currently at work on several multi-family residential projects, including developments in Tribeca and West Palm Beach, Florida.
