Hanxing joined COOKFOX in 2018 and has contributed to several commercial and residential developments, including St. John’s Terminal, Google’s new New York office, and 345 Hudson Street, a pilot project of the New York Empire Building Challenge. He brings an in-depth knowledge of sustainability strategies and innovative design technology. He is also a core member of the studio’s digital resource library, whose mission is making sure the most advanced cutting-edge technologies are always properly evaluated and utilized in all COOKFOX projects if they are applicable.
Prior to joining COOKFOX, Hanxing worked with Archi-Tectonics, where he led several high-end residential developments in New York and was also part of large-scale stadium development and planning in China for the 2022 Asian Games, as well as multiple international architectural competitions in Europe.
Hanxing is a New York State-registered architect and LEED-credentialed expert in building design and construction. He draws inspiration from the exploration of advanced technology, such as AI and Mixed Reality, as well as the creative process of design.
