Tinglan joined COOKFOX in 2018 and started working on Crystal Drive North, a 26-story, 339-unit luxury residential project in National Landing, Virginia. She is currently overseeing the construction of this building after leading the project team from schematic design through design development documentation. Tinglan also worked on residential, commercial, and institutional projects in the studio. She developed the design of Marymount School, a new building for an all-girl private school in the Upper East Side. She was also a core member of the team for a 9-story mixed-use building located in Alexandria, Virginia.
Tinglan is currently working on two buildings with 731 rental units in Washington DC, both of which are pursuing LEED certifications.
Prior to joining COOKFOX, Tinglan worked as a project designer at Combined Architecture in Brooklyn for 3 years. She managed new multi-family constructions and historic building renovations in New York City. Tinglan applies solution-centric approach across her projects. As a rock climber, she enjoys the nature and passionately embraces wellness, sustainability, and resiliency in architectural design.
