Erin McLaughlin, LEED GA
Erin joined COOKFOX in 2014, and began working on 512 West 22nd Street, a biophilic workplace adjacent to the High Line. Through various iterations of concept and massing, she saw the project through design development, documentation packages, and into its construction phase. Throughout the project, Erin worked to develop the structure, landscape, and custom design of the terracotta cladding.
Currently, Erin is working on 39-41 West 23rd Street, a 24-story multifamily residence which consists of two towers and a deep vegetated façade, located on a through-block site of the Ladies’ Mile Historic district. Her role on the project ranges from the coordination of the cantilevered superstructure, and detailing of the multifaceted exterior wall, to overseeing the ongoing construction and ultimate completion of the project. When she isn’t on site, attending meetings, or reviewing submittals, you may find her out on one of our terraces, where she teaches Pilates classes to our studio!
Prior to COOKFOX, Erin worked as a freelance graphic designer, completing independent research, writing, and design for an exhibition and publication on contemporary Brazilian architecture. She is always looking for opportunities to integrate design and wellbeing in her work, for the betterment of communities and the built environment at large.
