Shai Fuller, AIA
Shai joined COOKFOX in 2014 and has since applied her combined knowledge of landscape architecture, architecture and interior design to a variety of COOKFOX projects. Since joining the firm, Shai has contributed to the design of 550 Vanderbilt Avenue, an apartment building in Brooklyn’s Pacific Park development, and acted as design lead for the residential and amenity interiors for 39 West 23rd Street, a luxury apartment building in Manhattan. Shai is currently spearheading the interior architecture of a multi-family rental building within a new wellness district in downtown Tampa, as well as the build-out of Lutron’s Commercial Experience Center.
Prior to entering graduate school, Shai worked at Quennell Rothschild and Partners, a landscape architecture firm which focuses on civic spaces in New York City. Shai managed the woodworking shop and fabrication lab during her graduate studies at Columbia University, reinforcing her interest in well-crafted details using both traditional methods and innovative technologies. Before joining COOKFOX, Shai was a designer at 212 Box architects, where she worked on design and construction of Christian Louboutin stores internationally, putting spatial ideas to work. Concurrent to her studies in architecture, Shai was an active modern dancer, a pursuit she still enjoys and one that continues to inform her architectural practice.
