Hilary Catterall began working with COOKFOX in 2013 as a consultant and joined the studio full-time in 2016. As Director of Interiors & Styling she brings her expertise on FF&E and how they influence health, wellness, and budgetary considerations to the interiors team. Since joining the firm she has worked on the interior design of a variety of projects such as luxury residential building 301 East 50th Street, 550 Vanderbilt, and 1 Columbus Place. Notably, Hilary played an integral role in the design of COOKFOX’s own LEED & WELL offices at 250 W 57th St, which showcases the studio’s interest in and commitment to biophilic design and the craft of comfortable, efficient workspaces. She is currently working on two private residences, one in New York and one in Miami Beach.

Prior to joining COOKFOX, Hilary had her own interior design business and was trained by AD 100 firms like S. Russell Groves, Fox-Nahem Design, and MR Architecture. Growing up in and around New York City and New England, she was exposed to a wide range of architecture, interiors, and landscapes. Hilary was fascinated by historical structures and their pride of place. At COOKFOX she has found a team that believes that every detail of a space is an integral part of a greater whole that will profoundly influence the people who occupy them.
